Downton Abbey’s Highclare Castle has been listed on Airbnb – but for one night only.
To mark the release of the brand new film, one lucky couple will be given the chance to stay at the iconic English mansion.
The winners will have dinner in the lavish dining room and coffee in the library, before retiring to one of the gorgeous gallery bedrooms.
The next morning, the lucky fans will have breakfast, followed by a private tour of the 1,000-acre grounds.
Lord and Lady Carnarvon are the current residents of the property, and will welcome their guests personally – as they anticipate inviting a huge fan of the show into their home.
Lady Carnarvon said, “I am passionate about the stories and heritage of Highclere Castle and I am delighted to be able to share it with others who have a love of the building and its history.”
“With the support of Airbnb, I am excited to open Highclere Castle up for a truly unique stay.”
The castle has been in their family since the 1600s, and thanks to the iconic period drama it has become one of the most famous homes in Britain.
To enter the competition to win a chance to stay at the castle, you need to have a verified Airbnb profile, positive reviews, and a passion for Downton Abbey.
Bookings open on October 1, at a cost of £150, with the night stay to take place on November 26th.
