Taylor Swift and Liam Payne have been named the ‘most influential’ Twitter users.

Taylor was top of Brandwatch’s annual list, despite only tweeting thirteen times during the year; while Liam was named the ‘most influential’ male Twitter user.

The American singer got an ‘influencer score’ of 98/100, while the former One Direction singer got a score of 97.

Katy Perry was next on the list, with a score of 96, alongside Donald Trump, Kim Kardashian and Demi Lovato.

Justin Bieber, Barack Obama, Cristiano Ronaldo and Irishman, Niall Horan, scored 95 on the list.

Meanwhile, stars such as Ellen DeGeneres, Selena Gomez and Shakira were also given a score of 95.

Neither Taylor nor Liam were even placed on the list last year, as Justin Bieber and Katy Perry were named as the ‘most influential’ Twitter users of 2017.
