Major panic ensued when a farmer started shooting rabbits in a nearby field during the X Factor’s Judges Houses.
According to The Sun, security rushed in to protect Simon Cowell at his Judges Home in Nice, France while he was waiting for the arrival of his guest judge Cheryl.
A source said, “Everyone was terrified. Several gunshots were heard in quick succession.
“There was already tight security because of the current climate.”
“It turned out the shots had come from a farmer who was shooting rabbits in a field rather than anything more sinister.”
Simon was later joined by Cheryl, who will appear as a guest judge on The X Factor despite it previously being reported that she had cut ties with the ITV series.
