The parents of the late Love Island star, Sophie Gradon, have spoken out for the first time since their daughter’s death.
In a statement to the Press Association, Deborah and Colin Gradon said, “It has been one week since we lost our precious daughter and we as a family are still coming to terms with our sudden loss.”
“Our hearts are broken.”
“We wish to say our goodbyes to Sophie in private so we ask that you respect our family’s privacy during this arduous time.”
The 32-year-old died last week, on June 20th at her parents home following a battle with depression.
The Mirror reported that the inquest into Sophie’s death will be opened and adjourned tomorrow.
