Andrew Morton has been rushed to hospital after suffering a suspecting stroke at an event in London.

The royal biographer, who just recently published a tell-all book on Meghan Markle, collapsed while delivering a speech at The Oldie Literary Lunch in Central London, and has been rushed to the University College London Hospital.

A source close to Andrew told The Sun, “He is very unwell. We don’t know what’s wrong at the moment and he’s undergoing tests.”

A source at the event said, “Andrew was five minutes into his speech about Wallis Simpson when he lost concentration.”

“He forgot what he was saying, was sweating and started to sway. He ended up getting carted off from The Strand in the back of an ambulance and taken to UCLH. People are saying it’s a suspected stroke.”

The journalist has published a number of Royal biographies over the years, including a tell-all book about Prince Harry’s mother Princess Diana.

The news comes just days after Andrew appeared on RTÉ’s The Late Late Show ahead of the royal wedding this weekend.
