Robert Pattinson has admitted that he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of reprising his role as Edward Cullen.
The British actor rose to fame alongside Kristen Stewart (who played Bella Swan) in the vampire fantasy franchise, but the series came to an end five years ago after releasing four movies.
However, last week it was reported that Lionsgate, the studio that produced the films, had stated that “there are more stories to be told” within the franchise.
During an interview with the Huffington Post, Robert was told about the possibility of Twilight making a comeback, and he replied with ‘faux-enthusiasm’, “Really? Yes!”

However, when the Huffington Post reporter asked ‘So that’s a ‘no thanks’, right?’ – Rob replied, “Well, you never know.”
“It did inspire me at the time. And, really, it’s kind of awesome. It’s the way people interpret it. People would excuse you for not taking something seriously if it becomes this mainstream thing and everyone’s fiending.
“I took it just as seriously – more seriously – than other things I’ve done,” he added.
