Robbie Williams has slammed Coleen Rooney’s “dangerous need for revenge” on Rebekah Vardy, as he warned that that behaviour could cause someone to take their own life.

The wife of Wayne Rooney famous accused fellow WAG Rebekah of leaking fake stories about her in an explosive statement on social media – which led to her receiving death threats.

Weighing on the controversy during an interview with The Telegraph, Robbie said: “Let’s say Rebekah was guilty – which we don’t know. How she will feel inside right now is 10 times worse than how Coleen would have felt when those things were happening to her.”

“It’s a dangerous game to play… I understand Coleen’s need for revenge and I probably would have done the same thing but we have to be careful… It’s suicide-causing – provoking those levels of shame,” Robbie said.

Coleen publicly accused Rebekah of selling fake stories about her, after she planted false information on her personal Instagram.

The mother-of-four claimed she planted false information on her private Instagram page and blocked everyone from her story – except Rebekah’s account.

Coleen said stories about her basement flooding, returning to TV, and gender selection were only viewed by Rebekah’s account – and the false stories all made it into the press.

Coleen believes this is proof that the fellow WAG allegedly sold stories about her private life.

Despite Coleen’s claims, Rebekah has vowed to prove her innocence, and has hired a team of forensic IT experts to help her do so.
