Robbie Willliams stunned viewers of the World Cup opening ceremony when he made an obscene gesture.
During his performance at the event to herald the start of the football competition, he stuck his middle finger up at a camera.
Fans were shocked as he nonchalantly worked the gesture into his dancing and now he may face a fine for his actions.

He made the gesture after changing the lyrics of Rock DJ to, “I did this for free”.
Vladamir Putin brought in legislation in May that makes swearing in public a fine incurring offence. Individuals can be slapped with a 2,500 roubles (€34) fine and businesses can be fined 50,000 rubles (€687).
