Prince William has revealed the incredibly posh nickname he has given his daughter, Princess Charlotte.

During a tour of Kate Middleton’s RHS Back to Nature garden at the Chelsea Flower Show, William and Kate spent some quality time with their children Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, 13 months.

In a video shared by Kensington Palace, the Duke of Cambridge can be seen hanging out with his son George, before getting on a rope swing.

The father-of-three then calls over his daughter to give him a push, but fans have noticed that William called her “Mignonette” instead of Charlotte.

Mignonette, which is derived from the French origin of “mignon”, is a French baby name, meaning “small, sweet, and delicate”.

Earlier this week, William and Kate shared some adorable family photos from their trip to the garden, which the Duchess of Cambridge designed alongside landscape architects Andrée Davies and Adam White of Davies White Landscape Architects.
