PICS: Meghan Markle wears white for her Royal Ascot debut

The former actress is finding her feet within the Royal family

Meghan Markle made her Royal Ascot debut yesterday – and she seriously dressed to impress.

The newest member of the British Royal family and her husband Prince Harry joined Queen Elizabeth for the first day of Royal Ascot, one month after they tied the knot at Windsor Castle.

The couple travelled by carriage to the course, in which they were joined by Prince Edward and Sophie, the Countess of Wessex.

Meghan, 36, opted to wear a dress from her wedding dress designer Givenchy once again, which she paired with a matching white hat with black detailing by Philip Treacy.

Meanwhile Harry, 33, looked handsome in a traditional tailcoat and top hat.

The newly-married couple beamed as they handed the trophy for the St. James’s Palace Stakes to winner Frankie Dettori, who is one of Britain’s most popular jockeys.

In a particularly funny moment, Prince Harry pointed a finger at the celebrity jockey after he planted a kiss on Meghan’s hand.
