Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have delighted crowds in Scotland, as they made their first official visit there on Tuesday.

The couple visited Edinburgh’s New Town area to learn more about one of the city’s many charitable organizations, called Social Bite.

Social Bite is social enterprise café that aims to provide meals and hot drinks for the homeless, and employs those who are or have previously been homeless.

During their visit to the café, Harry said, “It’s amazing. You’re doing an incredible job.”

Social Bite, which has several cafés throughout Scotland, has many famous fans, including George Clooney.

PEOPLE have reported that during their visit, Meghan spoke about her own experience working with homeless people at a soup kitchen in Los Angeles when she was a teenager.

And in a particularly emotional moment, Social Bite’s co-founder Alice Thompson told Meghan how she was inspired by the speech she gave to U.N. Women about female empowerment a few years ago.

Visibly moved by her comments, Meghan’s eyes welled up before giving Alice a hug in the middle of the café.

Before leaving the café, Meghan said, “It means a lot to both of us to be here. It’s my first time in Scotland,” before adding, “Everyone apologizes for the weather! It’s not that bad. I was in Toronto for six years.”

The Prince and the former actress are set to tie the knot on May 19 at Windsor Castle.
