Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie got married yesterday and their wedding looked like even more of a fairytale than the fantasy land, Game of Thrones, which caused them to meet.
Beginning as onscreen lovers in the hit HBO show, their love blossomed off-screen too leading to the pair getting engaged last September and announcing they would be tying the knot on the 23rd of June in an official post at Huntly registration office in Aberdeenshire.
Sophie Turner, Emilia Clarke, Maisie Williams, John Bradley and Peter Dinklage all attended the ceremony to see two of their castmates profess their love for each other.
The wedding was held in Leslie’s family estate, Wardhill Castle.

Game of Thrones producer D.B. Weiss, also attended flying in with Pete Dinklage, while Turner was snapped leaving the airport as she was FaceTiming her fiance Joe Jonas.
Emilia Clarke, who plays Kit’s current onscreen love interest, Daenerys Targaryen, flew up from London to attend the celebration according to People.
The Solo star became friends with Leslie while filming Game of Thrones and is rumoured to be in the 31-year-old’s bridal party.
Other celebrities including Malin Akerman and her fiance, British actor Jack Donnelly, were also spotted at the airport apparently making their way to the ceremony.

L’Uomo Vogue heard how his best memory of Game of Thrones was meeting Leslie and falling in love with her while filming in Iceland.
“The country is beautiful… the northern lights are magical… it was there that I fell in love.”
“If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love.”
The 31-year-old popped the question after five years of dating.

He discussed proposing when he appeared on The Johnathan Ross Show, “I was going to string up some lights in some trees and do all the romantic stuff.”
“But we were in the country and we were under this beautiful night sky and had a log fire burning and red wine.”
“I was meant to do it the day after with the lights.”
“What I meant to say was, I popped my question a bit early.”
