Ellie Goulding has gushed about her new fiancé in a sweet post.
The singer recently got engaged to Team GB rower Casper Jopling, with the news being announced in The Times.
Ellie posted a loved up black and white of the couple, with the 31-year-old describing Casper as “the most wonderful person”.
She captioned the photo “I tend to keep my life very private these days and I have enjoyed the time I’ve had away from all the madness ????
“But we’ve had so many beautiful messages of support and love the past few days, as have our families, that we wanted to say thank you so much! We appreciate it more than you could ever know….
She continued, saying “You’re the most wonderful person I’ve ever known, and I can’t wait to be your very giggly, in awe and loved up wife x”.
The adorable photo, which was uploaded to Instagram shows Ellie planting a kiss on her fiancé, while he cradles her legs.
The ‘Love Me Like You Do’ singer also uploaded a photo to her story, which poked fun at her fans, as she shared the quetions many of them wanted to know about.
In a text post shared to her Instagram stories, Ellie wrote: ‘Me – “Getting married guys”. My fans – “That’s nice but where’s the music”. LOL fair enough’. Earlier this week, Ellie thanked her fans for their congratulatory messages following the news of her engagement to Caspar on Tuesday.
