One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik FINALLY bury the hatchet

Louis Tomlinson opened up about how he patched things up with Zayn Malik after their departure from popular boyband, One Direction, last year.

Former Boyband member Louis Tomlinson said,”Me and Zayn have spoken recently, we’ve gotten to a point now where you can just really be happy for each other” in his interview on Sirius XM Music.

“Things have happened in the past, of course. And his first song was an absolute smash, and that’s a great song, so yeah it’s nice,” he added.

Louis also spoke about the passing of his mother in his first interview since her death last year.

Tomlinson performed his new song on The X Factor, which hit Number Two in the UK, just days after his mother, Johannah Deakin, lost her battle with cancer.

Louis Tomlinson launched his debut solo album in December with ‘Just Hold On’, a collaboration with DJ-producer Steve Aoki.

Speaking out during his radio interview with SiriusXM, the former One Direction member said that he felt like he wanted to “throw in the towel”.

He then added: “It was my mum who said to me that I’ve just got to keep going. She told me very sternly that she wanted me to.”

Tomlinson also said that though the X Factor performance was “tough”, he “felt like it was nice for me to almost have a little send off for her”.
