Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen have finally shared the first photo from their “perfect” wedding day.

On September 15, the 24-year-old model and the 27-year-old fitness hunk became the first Love Island couple ever to get married, after meeting on the popular ITV2 series back in 2016.

The couple said ‘I do’ in front of close friends and family at Gosfield Hall in Essex, and now they’ve finally shared some snaps from their big day.

In photos published by OK! Magazine, Alex and Olivia can be seen beaming at their wedding reception alongside fellow reality stars Gabby Allen (Love Island) and Pete Wicks (TOWIE).

Speaking about their wedding day, Olivia said: “The wedding was overwhelmingly perfect. It feels like it didn’t happen because it was so perfect.”

“I had a vision and it all fitted into place like a puzzle. I was totally speechless the day after.”

Meanwhile, Olivia’s new hubby Alex said: “I can’t describe it with words. It felt like we were in a movie. It was surreal.”

The newlyweds also added that they both “burst into tears” when they first saw each other at the altar.

“When we saw each other we just burst into tears. I was really trying to hold it together and compose myself, because I didn’t want to fully lose it,” Olivia explained.

Alex added: “I cried when I looked at her. I was actually crying before she got out of the car!”

On their big day, Olivia wore a £2,069 Sophia Tolli dress, which she picked on TLC’s Say Yes To The Dress back in May 2017.

The pair recently confirmed that they’ve been filming their own reality show ‘Alex And Olivia Said Yes!’, which is set to air this month. The TLC series will follow the lead up to their big day, including all the ups and downs.

As for when they’ll start a family, Olivia revealed that they’re going to wait a few years.

“We’ve got such busy careers. Next year is going to be even bigger than this year. There are loads of things in the pipeline that I can’t reveal yet.

“I know you can’t quite beat the wedding, but career-wise we’ve got so much going on. Kids are going to have to wait, I’m afraid,” she said.

Olivia and Alex came second place during their stint on Love Island, behind Cara de la Hoyde and her now-fiancé Nathan Massey.

After their time on the show, the couple quickly moved in together in August 2016 – and Alex popped the question just a few months later during a romantic trip to New York in December.
