THIS is how much this year’s Love Island stars are set to make after leaving the villa

It's clear you don't have to win the show to become a millionaire

The final episode of Love Island is set to air tonight at 9pm.

One lucky couple will win and walk away with £50,000, however, the runners up have no reason to fret – as they’re all set to make bank after leaving the villa.

According to reports, this year’s contestants will most likely earn over a million pounds each from club appearances and paid Instagram posts in the months following their appearance on Love Island.

The Sun has reported that last year’s runner up Gabby Allen is now worth £1.3 million, while 2016 couple Alex Bowen and Olivia Buckland are together worth £3 million.

The most popular contestants this year have been Georgia Steel, Dani Dyer, and Jack Fincham – who have each gained over 1 million followers on Instagram, which means they will undoubtedly make the most money out of this year’s contestants.

A source told The Sun, “Winning doesn’t matter in Love Island, if you’re liked by the public then you’re going to be able to make some serious money on the outside.”

“Doing personal appearances in nightclubs can earn them up to £5,000 a go, and if you’re doing four a week then it’s easy money. Paid Instagram posts and advertising products is also an easy way to bank cash.”

Former contestants Georgia Steel and Sam Bird were only kicked off the show last week, but have already completed a number of nightclub appearances.
