Mel B is determined to prove to the court that she is stable, following from an alcohol and drug test order.
The singer was ordered to carry out alcohol and drug tests for four months during a custody hearing earlier this week.
The 43-year-old is currently undergoing a long battle with her ex-husband, Stephen Belafonte, for custody of their daughter.
Following the hearing, Mel’s spokesperson, Gary Madatyan, told Us Weekly: “Melanie is willing to do whatever it takes to provide proof to the court that she is a stable person.”
“She was ordered to take one test a week, but Melanie wanted to do more, and offered to do it twice a week. Melanie will be drug tested twice a week.”
The singer and her ex husband have also been ordered to hire a new nanny, who must be present when either of them is with their daughter.
