Meghan Markle‘s father Thomas Markle will now not be attending the royal wedding.
TMZ have reported that her dad suffered a heart attack six days ago, but had checked himself out of the hospital in order to attend the royal wedding this weekend.
Kensington Palace had announced that he was going to walk Meghan down the aisle.
However, he has now decided not to attend the wedding after it was revealed that he staged multiple photoshoots with a paparazzi agency.
According to TMZ, he will not attend because he doesn’t want ‘to embarrass Meghan or the royal family.’
Apparently he told TMZ he did not like the way the photographs portrayed him — he says he was pictured buying alcoho.
He then added that the pap shots were orchestrated by his other daughter, Samantha Markle in a bid to portray himself in a positive light.
