Meghan Markle’s father is “deeply embarrassed” over claims that he staged paparazzi pictures ahead of her wedding to Prince Harry.
In the run up to the royal wedding, photos emerged of Thomas Markle Snr looking at pictures of the Royal couple in an internet café, and being fitted for a suit.
However, The Mail on Sunday published CCTV footage of Meghan’s father and photographer Jeff Rayner appearing to set up the “fake” candid shots.

Meghan’s estranged half-brother, Thomas Markle Jnr, has since come out to say that their father is “deeply embarrassed”, and that he “will apologise” to Meghan and Prince Harry.
According to the Daily Mail, Meghan’s father will still walk her down the aisle of St George’s Chapel on Saturday, despite the scandal.
The Mail on Sunday reported that the internet cafe pictures are just part of a series Jeff Rayner took of Meghan’s father.
The seemingly candid pictures have been published in newspapers, magazines and websites all over the world, and the images are said to have sold for £100,000.
It is not known for sure whether Thomas Markle was paid for his involvement.
