It’s set to be the most showbiz royal wedding in living memory, but Meghan Markle’s half-brother Tom doesn’t want his sons to be invited.

According to the Daily Mail, Meghan’s brother Tom doesn’t want his sons, Thomas (26) and Tyler (25), to be invited to the highly anticipated royal wedding, which is set for May 19.

He claims his sons haven’t seen the royal bride-to-be since they were kids, and accused them and his ex-wife Tracy Dooley of trying to cash in on the Markle name.

“They should not be getting any invite to the wedding,” he told the Sunday Mirror. “Tracy and me stopped living as man and wife three months into the marriage because the relationship was such a disaster. She never wanted the Markle name when we were married and now suddenly she acts like she’s still part of the family.”

“I don’t want her to have anything to do with us and the boys shouldn’t go along with it. They shouldn’t be at the wedding either.

“Both boys were always Dooleys as kids. I got sick of making the name an issue with Tracy and ultimately she had her way. They’re Dooleys. You cannot pick and choose when you’re a Markle,” he said.

Tom also referred to a TV interview in which Tracy and their sons said that they would be “honoured” to attend the wedding.

“It’s got to stop. The boys were babies when they met Meghan last and Tracy has never even met Meghan, ever. I don’t believe Tracy or my sons have the right to call themselves Markles. If this embarrasses Meghan then I am sorry, but Tracy can’t go on claiming to be a Markle.”

“Tyler has been really strange with me since news of Meghan and Harry’s relationship came out. It’s like the boys and Tracy have ganged up on me.”

Meghan grew up with Tom and his sister Samantha, who her father Thomas had from a previous relationship.

It remains to be seen who will be invited to the wedding, as the guest list is yet to be announced for the much-anticipated star-studded event.

It’s not even clear if Prince Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, will be in attendance either – due to royal tradition on divorcees, she didn’t attend the marriage of her son Prince Charles in 2005, as his now-wife Camilla was previously married.

Former actress Meghan, whose most notable role was in legal drama ‘Suits’, married film producer Trevor Engelson in 2011, but the pair divorced two years later.
