Meghan Markle killed it in the style department during her first year as a member of the British royal family, so it’s no surprise that she spent more on her wardrobe in 2018 than any other royals.
Fashion experts UFO No More have calculated the amount spent by royals in Britain, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Norway, and the Netherlands on clothing and accessories over the past year.
And according to them, the Duchess of Sussex spent almost half a million pounds on her wardrobe last year – £406,915.43 to be exact – and that’s not including the cost of her custom Givenchy wedding dress.

The fashion blog’s findings put Meghan’s wardrobe budget approximately £300,000 ahead of her closest contender, Denmark’s Crown Princess Mary.
The results are reportedly based on the one-off costs of clothing and accessories worn by royals for the first time in 2018.
Custom pieces like Meghan’s Givenchy wedding dress and Princess Eugenie’s Peter Pilotto gown weren’t included in the findings to keep it as accurate as possible.

When contacted my MailOnline, Kensington Palace declined to comment, but said that clothing was paid for “privately”.
