Meghan Markle ‘sent her mother to confront’ ex-husband Trevor over developing TV series

The former actress' split from Trevor was pretty nasty

Meghan Markle’s ex-husband Trevor Engelson has reportedly scrapped his plans to create a TV show loosely based on their failed marriage.

According to The Sun, the Duchess of Sussex asked her mother Doria Ragland to confront Trevor, after she heard about his plans in the press.

It’s believed Meghan’s ex was working on developing the show through Fox Studios, and the plot followed a man whose wife leaves him for a British prince.

However, after Doria allegedly spoke to Trevor, he agreed to drop the comedy series.

Trevor and Meghan tied the knot in Jamaica back in 2011, but divorced just two years later.

According to reports, their split was so bitter that Meghan sent him her wedding and engagement rings back by mail.

Last year, author Andrew Morton claimed in his book Meghan: A Hollywood Princess that she dumped Trevor “totally out of the blue” and he was left “devastated” by her actions.

The TV producer is now married to dietitican Tracey Kurland.
