Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have exchanged vows and rings!
The newlyweds held their wedding ceremony in St George’s Chapel in Windsor.
Six hundred guests joined them to celebrate their nupitals. Serena Williams, Elton John, David and Victoria Beckham along with George and Amal Cloney were among the famous faces who witnessed their vows.
Michael Curry, a US pastor, opened the ceremony with a powerful speech about love and its power to change the world.
Meghan Markle was a vision of elegance arriving at the chapel wearing a tiara which held an extremely long veil in place and the dress the world had been waiting for.
Kensington Palace revealed that “Ms. Meghan Markle’s wedding dress has been designed by the acclaimed British designer, Clare Waight Keller. Ms. Waight Keller last year became the first female Artistic Director at the historic French fashion house Givenchy.”
Sheku Kanneh-Mason, The Choir of St George’s Chapel, Karen Gibson and the Kingdom Choir and the orchestra provided beautiful music throughout the ceremony.
They kissed on the steps of the Chapel at St George’s much to the delight of the public.
The couple will enjoy a second celebration later in Frogmore House hosted by Prince Charles.
They are rumoured to be planning to honeymoon in Africa. There first holiday together there was extremely special for the couple and apparently was where they both knew that this was to be a special relationship.
