Meghan confirmed last year that she “wanted to be baptised and confirmed out of respect for the Queen’s role as the head of the Church of England”.

Meghan and Prince Harry will marry on the 19th of May at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.

“The service will be conducted by the Dean of Windsor, David Connor, with the Archbishop presiding as the couple make their vows”.

The Daily Mail also reports that “Meghan had the equivalent of godparents, to support her in the baptism”.

Kate Middleton also had a private confirmation after her engagement to Prince William, however Kate was baptised as a baby.

The Daily Mail also adds that there were 18 guests who walked to Clarence House after the ceremony, where Charles and Camilla hosted a dinner.

Fans and news outlets have shared pictures via Twitter.

Her baptism and confirmation money should help her pay for her £400,000 wedding dress!
