Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s royal baby hasn’t been born yet, despite speculation that the pair have already welcomed their first child in secret.

According to the Daily Mail’s royal correspondent Rebecca English, the Duchess of Sussex is now a week overdue – and the couple are eagerly anticipating their baby’s arrival at Frogmore Cottage.

A source said: “They are happy and relaxed and looking forward to the arrival – whenever that may be.”

The news comes after Prince Harry cancelled a scheduled trip to Amsterdam next Wednesday.

Instead, the Duke will travel to The Hague on Thursday to mark the one-year countdown to the 2020 Invictus Games.

It’s believed Harry will fly in and out of The Netherlands that same day.

The couple have decided to keep their birthing plan private, but royal aides believe the Palace will announce when Meghan has gone into labour.

However, they won’t reveal details of the baby’s sex, weight and where it was born until Meghan and Harry have “had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.”

According to reports, Meghan is hoping for a home birth if there are no complications.

The couple’s first child will be seventh in line to the British throne, and the eighth great-grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II.
