Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly “exploring the possibility” of hiring a male nanny.
The Duchess allegedly wants to hire an American nanny to look after their first child as she “is extremely proud of her American roots”.
A source told The Mirror: “‘Meghan was clear in telling recruiters she favours an American over a Brit and wants them to feel part of the family rather than a uniformed member of staff.”
“That is important to her, she’s never hidden the fact she is fiercely proud of her American roots,” they added.
The couple are reportedly also looking at the possibility of hiring a male nanny: “They are keen to explore the Âpossibility of a male nanny. The worker will earn up to £70,000-a-year, depending on Âexperience.”
The royal family have been hiring nannies from the Norland College in Bath since the 1800s and according to the MailOnline, only two men have ever graduated from the college.
