Megan McKenna’s restaurant, McK Grill has gone bust less than two years after it opened.
According to The Daily Mail, company records have shown that the restaurant called in the liquidators Begbies Traynor, to begin the process of closing down the business.
Megan started the business last year hosting a lavish star-studded launch party.
The Daily Mail reports that records from April this year, show that “the company would be wound up voluntarily”.
The former TOWIE star stepped down as director of McK Grill back in December, however, she still lists owning the business in her Instagram bio.
Although reports suggest the restaurant is going under, it’s still taking bookings, as can be seen on her Instagram.
Speaking to NOW shortly after the opening of her grill, she exclaimed, “I’m honestly over the moon.”
“It’s been stressful but so worth it and I’m so happy with the turn out tonight.”
The Big Brother star also added, “There is nowhere else like this locally. The area needs something like this, somewhere with a bit of buzz and nice, gluten-free food.”
Megan has yet to comment on the reports.
