Masterchef star Nick Munier has closed the doors of his Dublin restaurant Avenue.
The popular Crow Street venue had bookings all this week, but informed customers by email that they would be closing down.
“We are sorry to inform you that unfortunately from Saturday the 22nd of April, we will no longer be trading,” the email stated.
“Unfortunately we have been left with no option but to close. Both Nick and Alanna (Avenue’s manager) would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to you and wish to extend our sincere thanks for all your support of the business to date.”
People have quickly taken to Twitter to share their disappointment, with Avenue’s manager Alanna Feeney telling followers on Twitter that they “will be back”.
