Marnie Simpson reveals she’s considering surrogacy following ‘traumatic’ labour

The reality star recently gave birth to her first child

Marnie Simpson has revealed she’s considering surrogacy, after her “traumatic” labour experience.

The Geordie Shore star welcomed her first child, a son named Rox, with her boyfriend Casey Johnson back in October.

Unfortunately, the 27-year-old didn’t have the best birthing experience, and ended up being in labour for 28 hours.

Speaking to new! magazine weeks after having her baby, Marnie said: “If we do have more, I’d have a surrogate.”

“I don’t know anything about it so I’d have to do a bit of research. It’s a route that I never thought I’d have to go down.”

Marnie’s beau Casey then added: “I’m completely fine with it. It’s her body, not mine. She doesn’t care about her body changing, it’s because of her bladder condition.”

Marnie was diagnosed with a bladder condition back in 2017, which caused her severe pain during childbirth.

The star also lost a lot of blood when giving birth, and had to have two blood transfusions.
