Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have invited Amelia Thompson to their royal wedding, it has been revealed.
The 12-year-old, who survived the devastating Manchester Arena bombing last year, was “speechless” when she found out that she would be attending the royal wedding next month.
Amelia, who suffered trauma and damaged vocal cords from screaming, has decided to bring the grandmother of 15-year-old Olivia Campbell-Hardy, who was killed in the attack.
Although Amelia was supposed to bring her mother, Lisa Newton, she thought bringing Sharon Goodman, who lost her 15-year-old granddaughter, would be the right thing to do.

Lisa told The Sun, “It just feels right, the right thing to do. Sharon’s looking forward to it and that’s what matters.”
Amelia said, “I can’t get my head around it. I’m so excited to go.”
Meanwhile, Sharon said it was an “absolute privilege” to be asked to go.
Back in March, Kensington Palace announced that 1,200 members of the public would be invited into the grounds of Windsor Castle on Harry and Meghan’s wedding day on May 19.
