Made In Chelsea’s resident confectionery aficionado has joined the line-up for the 2019 series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Jamie Laing has become the 11th celebrity to be announced for the show.
He told ITV’s Loose Women that he found out around a month ago, but has struggled to keep the news a secret.

“I’m not very good at keeping secrets so that was quite tricky, especially from my mum.”
“I couldn’t even tell my mum, and every single year she says ‘Are you doing the show?’ … So hey, surprise, Mum!”
“I spoke to a lot of people who have done it in the past and everyone said it’s the scariest but the best thing.”
He uploaded a video to his Instagram story, revealing that he would be taking port in the series and expressing his excitement.
He told his 875k followers: “I cant wait, because firstly I get to learn to dance…and secondly because my mum is going to be so excited.”
A number of other celebs and personalities have been confirmed for the Strictly series.
Comedian Chris Ramsey, EastEnders star Emma Barton, RuPaul’s Drag Race star Michelle Visage, YouTuber Saffron Barker, and actress Catherine Tyldesley have all been confirmed for the line up.
