Molly-Mae Hague has responded to claims that she’s been in therapy following her stint on Love Island.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Molly was seeing a therapist after being targeted by cruel trolls on social media.

However, the 20-year-old has since denied claims that she’s in therapy, and has insisted that she’s completely fine.

Appearing on heat magazine’s YouTube channel, Molly said: “I’m coping with it really well. I think there was rumours that came out about me being in therapy and stuff…”

“Which is just comical because I was literally getting my makeup done at a photoshoot and it was like, ‘Molly-Mae in THERAPY’, and I was just like, I’m just not in therapy. Like I’m literally fine, I’m so happy.”

“I was just sitting there having the best time. It’s crazy the press will literally jump onto anything. But with the whole hate, I’ve literally been fine, I just don’t read it. ”

“I think I typed my name in on Twitter once when I came out, read a few things, and just thought ok maybe let’s not do that. Maybe just don’t search your name on Twitter,” she laughed.

Molly explained: “You know it’s going to be a thing when you come out, not everyone is going to like you. I think me in particular, I have got a lot of backlash, but not really for any real reason if you think about it.”

“I mean people are branding me as fake, but I’m not, and I think people are seeing that now. So it kind of has stopped.”

“The whole trolling thing, the fact that it’s still a thing now after horrible things have happened in the past. It’s so sad, it really is, and people aren’t learning.”

“Luckily I’ve got very thick skin, but if I was more of a fragile person, the things that they were saying about me – it could have really affected me.

“Luckily they don’t because I’m so happy and in this bubble, but I think if I was a more timid person it could really, really get to you. Some of the things people say to you are vile,” she added.
