Love Island stars, Megan Barton-Hanson and Wes Nelson, have said that they felt Samira Mighty and Frankie Foster’s relationship was one-sided.

It was recently revealed that the couple split after Frankie was caught cheating on the dancer while in a nightclub.

Both Frankie and Samira issued statements after their split, with the student saying that his actions were “unacceptable”.

Former islanders, Megan and Wes, have since admitted that they felt their relationship was doomed from the beginning.

“In the villa, Frankie never really spoke to the boys about Samira, but I knew she was talking to the girls about him quite a lot. I think from the start you could tell she was more into him that he was into her,” Wes told Heart FM.

“I think the fact that she left the villa and made such a big sacrifice, and he’d already done something wrong I think that was the end,” Megan agreed.

The couple said that they feel awful for the 21-year-old, and that although Frankie is nice, he just wasn’t ready for a relationship.

Megan also said that there’s no way Samira will give Frankie another chance.

She revealed, “I spoke to Samira yesterday and she spoke about it briefly, but I didn’t want to make her relive it too much, so I think I will call her again today and see how she’s doing. She is strong though, she won’t go back to him.”

Samira left Love Island soon after Frankie was dumped from the show, and the couple had an emotional reunion at the airport.
