Love Island‘s Laura Crane is still in hospital after being diagnosed with sepsis.
The surfer was rushed to hospital earlier in the week and was almost immediately diagnosed when she arrived.
The 23-year-old has been keeping fans up-to-date with her condition and hopes that she’ll be allowed to go home today.
“Laura is sadly quite unwell. She was rushed in on Tuesday and they quickly diagnosed sepsis. It’s taking time to control her temperature and rid her blood of the infection, but it had spread quite rapidly,” her rep told The Sun.
“A scary time for her and her family but we’re praying she makes a full recovery in the next couple of days.”
Laura told fans that she just wants to go home and also shared a quote which said “Hard times will always reveal true friends.”
The 23-year-old wrote “Facts” across the quote.
Laura rose to fame on Love Island during the summer, when she coupled up with Jack Fowler, but the couple split in September.
