Love Island’s Dom Lever claims stars ‘don’t get any support’ after leaving the show – unless they win

Love Island’s Dom Lever has claimed that stars “don’t get any support” after they leave the show – unless they are the winners.

Mike Thalassitis, who appeared on the 2017 season of the reality show, was found dead at age 26 yesterday.

Following the news of his tragic death, his former Love Island stars have been sharing tributes to him online.

“I’m shocked at the news!! me and @MikeThalassitis may not have seen eye to eye but he was a top guy,” Dom tweeted, as he appeared on the same series as Mike.

The 28-year-old also claimed that when stars leave the programme, unless they have won the show they will not receive “any support”.

“You get a psychological evaluation before and after you go on the show but hands down once you are done on the show you don’t get any support unless you’re number one,” he alleged.

Dom then responded to a follower who suggested that there should be a documentary made about “the problems it can bring after the shows”, to which the reality star responded: “sign me up”.

Mike’s death comes just one year after Sophie Gradon, who appeared on the show in 2016, died – her inquest was recently postponed.
