Love Island fans in Plymouth have been left fuming, after Tommy Fury cancelled a nightclub appearance at the last minute.
The 20-year-old was supposed to do a PA at Fever & Boutique nightclub, but decided to ditch the job so he could go on a date night with Molly-Mae Hague.
In a statement on their Facebook page, the club said: “Tommy Fury will not be joining us tonight BUT instead, we have SAM BIRD with a DJ set & PA!”
“Tommy’s management company confirmed on Wednesday that he would be making an appearance tonight (Friday) but earlier today he decided that he doesn’t want to make the journey down to Plymouth.”
“We are absolutely gutted and we’ve been frantically trying to sort a replacement out and our friend Sam Bird has kindly offered to step in with a DJ set and PA to keep the party going!”
They added: “We are so sorry to let everyone down and even though it is completely out of our control we will be offering all ticket holders a free drink tonight & for those wanting to come down and see Sam tonight we still have tickets available on the door.”
Fans expressed their disappointment in the comments section, and even branded the Love Island star a “diva”.
Just hours after they posted the status, Tommy was spotted at Shocktober Fest in Crawley with his girlfriend.
The pair have been practically inseparable since leaving the Love Island villa, and have even moved in together in Manchester.
