Louise Redknapp has revealed she “doesn’t know” what went wrong between her and her ex-husband Jamie.
The 44-year-old split from the former footballer in late 2017 after 19 years together, and it took Louise a “long time” to get over their break up.
During an interview with Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan on This Morning, Louise was asked what caused the breakdown of their marriage.
And she replied: “I wish I knew, it was really sad and sad times for the whole family. It’s something that takes a long time to get over.”
Louise and Jamie confirmed their split just one year after she appeared on Strictly Come Dancing.
During her time on the show, Louise and Jamie were plagued by rumours that their marriage was in trouble – but the mother-of-two doesn’t blame the show for their split.
She said: “Things go on far deeper than a TV programme. There’s different emotions and feelings that go on for years.”
“I think what the programme really did for me, it just reminded me how much I loved performing.”
