Lord Sugar has blamed himself to Rita Simons’ departure from I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
The actress was booted off the reality show last night, shortly after she revealed that the businessman is her uncle.
While some fans knew the celebs were related, others were shocked and now the Apprentice star has jokingly blamed himself for Rita’s exit.

The 71-year-old retweeted a message from his niece’s account, which said: “Hands up if you was this many years old when you found out @OfficialRita was the niece of Lord Alan Sugar…”
Alan then tweeted: “That is maybe why the public voted her out . It might be my fault.”
Just last night the Eastenders star spoke to fellow campmates, Harry Redknapp and Emily Atack, about her famous uncle and said: “I never wanted to be famous, that was never my intention. My intention was to be an actor and performer which is what I do. And how on earth can Alan help me?”
While Harry knew about the connection, Emily was shocked and responded: “Is this Alan Sugar? I only found this out the other day…So you’re his niece.”
“So many people said did you get your job on EastEnders… No I bl**dy auditioned for four weeks,” Rita continued.
The celeb was the fourth campmate to be voted off the reality show, following Noel Edmunds, Malique Thompson-Dwyer and Sair Khan.
