Liam Payne pays tribute to ‘special’ Cheryl on Mother’s Day

Liam Payne paid tribute to his ‘special’ girlfriend Cheryl on Mother’s Day in the US yesterday.

The singer gushed about the new mum, as she remains in the UK with their baby boy Bear.

The 1D star is currently in LA promoting his upcoming debut solo single Strip That Down, which is set for release on Friday, and was pictured partying with his former bandmate Niall Horan over the weekend.

Taking to Instagram, Liam wished Cheryl, and his own mum, a Happy Mother’s Day.

Sharing a selfie of himself with one of the Snapchat bunny filters on his face, he wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day America and to my two very special ladies mum and Cheryl I love you both very much‬.”

Liam’s tribute comes after he revealed that Cheryl picked baby Bear’s name in a recent interview.

“I’m into more traditional names, the Mrs . . . she’s more into more unique, original names that people will remember. It was her choice. I wasn’t going to fight her about it, she’s the one who’s done all the work, isn’t she,” he said.
