The name of Liam Payne’s baby boy has been confirmed.
The One Directioner revealed on Twitter that he and Cheryl have indeed called their little son Bear.
Bear Grylls had tweeted a link to a story about the name choice, writing, “Great choice! Love & blessings to you guys as you start on the greatest adventure.”

And Liam replied, “Thanks man hope he grows with an ounce of your courage! Your [sic] a boss.”
The Sun had earlier reported that the happy couple chose the name Bear after welcoming their son five weeks ago.
“Cheryl and Liam wanted to get to know their baby before deciding on a name. They didn’t have the name before the birth,” a source told the publication.

“But they’d been thinking of a name since meeting him and they just felt it suited him. They love their little baby Bear Payne and are truly over the moon and loving being parents for the first time.”
While it’s an unusual name, it has proven popular with celebrities, and Jamie Olivier’s six-year-old son Buddy has Bear as a middle name.
Meanwhile Kate Winslet and her husband Ned Rocknroll have three-year-old son Bear Blaze, and Alicia Silverstone also named her little boy Bear Blu after welcoming him in 2011.
