Liam Payne ‘advises’ Cheryl to change career if her comeback isn’t successful

Liam Payne reportedly “advised” Cheryl to change career, if her comeback isn’t successful.

The mother-of-one launched her return to music earlier this month with the release of a brand new single, Love Made Me Do It.

The single is currently 47 on the Official UK Top 100 charts and peaked at number 19, while the song hasn’t made it into Ireland’s Top 50 singles of the week.

It has now been reported that the 35-year-old was given career advice by her ex-boyfriend, as a source told Closer: “His advice was that if she didn’t want to carry on performing, she should go into music management.”

The insider also claimed that the 25-year-old has been supportive of Cheryl and said: “Liam has told her to ignore the haters and focus on the people who love her. He’s told her not to give up and that together they can try again.”

The former X Factor judge previously revealed that she would “move on” from music if her single doesn’t do well in the charts.

Liam and Cheryl dated for three years and have a one-year-old son together.
