Kensington Palace have responded to reports that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are planning to raise their baby as “gender fluid”.

Earlier this week, Vanity Fair reported that the Duchess of Sussex spoke about their parenting plans at her recent baby shower in NYC.

A source reportedly told the magazine, “Meghan has been talking to some of her friends about the birth and how she and Harry plan to raise their baby.”

“Her exact word was fluid. She said they plan to raise their child with a fluid approach to gender and they won’t be imposing any stereotypes.”

However, a palace spokesman has since confirmed: “This story is totally false.”

The news comes amid reports that Meghan’s sister-in-law Kate Middleton will throw her a second baby shower in the UK very soon – ahead of her due date in late April/early May.
