Keira Knightley has said she wants to play the role of Coleen Rooney in a movie about the recent Wagatha Christie scandal.
The Oscar-nominated actress thinks the entire scandal involving Rebekah Vardy is “brilliant”.
Last week, Coleen posted an explosive statement on social media, accusing Rebekah of selling stories about her and her family to The Sun.
Speaking at a media junket for Official Secrets, Keira Knightley told Heatworld that she would play Coleen in a Netflix film.
“I have heard what’s gone on. I heard in the car coming here. Brilliant,” she said.
“I don’t think I have any thoughts on it all… what thoughts are we meant to have about it?”

“Well she found out, didn’t she? Somebody said that it was the best thing that had ever happened, ever, on social media.”
When the interviewer suggested that Keira should play Coleen in a film about the WAGs cunning detective work, she said: “Yeah, brilliant. Done.”
