Katie Price is reportedly facing a nasty High Court battle with her ex-husband Alex Reid.
According to The Sun, the former cage fighter has accused his ex-wife of sharing “sexual” images of him.
The 43-year-old has alleged that Katie showed footage of him during her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side last January.
The former glamour model allegedly shared the images off camera, in front of a 40 strong studio audience.
At a hearing in London on Friday, which was attended by Alex, his lawyers said Katie currently has no legal representatives, after failing to pay her former solicitors.
Patrick Harrington QC told the judge: “Solicitors for the defendant are now off the record, she has not put them in funds. We understand she acts in person now, but does not appear today.”
“Our best information is that she is in Ibiza, but we are all here and we invite the court to proceed with this matter.”
The trial is expected to go ahead some time after October, and Alex’s legal costs were set at £400,000. Meanwhile, Katie’s defence costs will be an estimated £314,000.
During a High Court hearing in May last year, four witnesses claimed they saw footage of Alex, as Katie held her mobile phone up in front of audience members while she was a guest on the show.
At the time, Katie denied showing intimate footage of Alex, and claimed that it was a video she had downloaded from YouTube earlier that day.
However, the former glamour model admitted that she told audience members during a “very lighthearted” discussion that the video was of her ex-husband.
Katie and Alex tied the knot in Las Vegas back in 2010, but divorced the following year.
