Katie Price has reportedly been sending “flirty” texts to Gareth Gates following his split from Coronation Street actress, Faye Brookes.
The mother-of-five had a fling with the singer when he was 17-years-old and although Gareth originally denied the relationship, he opened up about it in 2016.
“I denied the whole Jordan thing because I was 17, I didn’t want my family to find out about my sex life. If I hadn’t lied it wouldn’t have been a big deal, my family, friends and fans wouldn’t have felt as let down I guess,” he told The Sun at the time.
According to the publication, Katie sent the 34-year-old a number of “flirty” text messages before she entered The Priory rehab facility last month.
“Katie’s back in contact with Gareth. She read that he’s single again and wanted to say hi and see how he was after the split,” a source claimed.
“She loves to message exes after a few drinks, so just before she went back into rehab she sent him a few late night messages after getting his number from a mutual friend.”
“She just wants to catch up with him but she was also being a bit cheeky and flirty too.”
Katie is reportedly dating ex-boyfriend, Kris Boyson, again following their brief split in September.
