Katie Price has admitted that she doesn’t ‘blame’ her ex Peter Andre for taking their children away from her last year.
The 40-year-old hit headlines for all the wrong reasons last year, and now she’s finally opened up about her many scandals.
During a candid interview on Loose Women, Katie admitted that she started taking drugs to “self medicate”.
“My family and friends were hurt, didn’t know what to do. All these years in the industry I never have but I purely did it to self medicate, I went to the doctors and told them the truth,” she said.
“Self-medicating on drugs really, it was disgusting, but it was my way of dealing with it. At least I can hold my hands up, if I didn’t speak out now, I would still be in rut.”
While Katie fell off the wagon, her ex-husband Peter Andre took their children, Junior and Princess, and refused to let her see them.
Looking back now, Katie said, “I don’t blame Pete doing what he did at the beginning, my ex Kieran told him I was self-medicating, more drama behind that, everything is back to normal now.”
