The Queen may be retiring sooner than expected which will cause a ripple effect of royal reshuffling.
Her husband, Prine Phillip, retired from royal duties last year and she may do the same soon which would see Prince Charles become King.
Prince Charles is Prince William’s father and when he takes the throne one of his duties will be to give out new titles to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge among others.
It is expected that Prince William and Kate Middleton who currently hold these titles will be bumped up in the hierarchy of royal titles.
There is a lot of speculation that they will be granted the titles The Prince and Princess of Wales.
Perhaps the Queen will retire after Prince Harry’s marriage to Meghan Markle on the 19th of May which she formally granted her blessing for yesterday.
