The cast of the hit American reality show Jersey Shore have been doing the rounds to promote their new spin off series Family Vacation, and on a recent stop in London, cast members shared their enthusiasm to do a crossover season with Geordie Shore.
Speaking with MailOnline, Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio said “It would be sick to bring the two together” adding “We are massive in America and [the cast of Geordie Shore] are massive [in the UK]. We need to come here for two weeks, and they need to come out to us for two weeks.”
When discussing how rowdy the combination of the two wild casts would be, Pauly D jokingly claimed “someone might die”.
Chloe Ferry of Geordie Shore who was also present at the press event in London, stated that “If [MTV] won’t sort it, we will film it on our phones.”
Family Vacation brings back the Jersey Shore crew for the first time in five years. The cast teased fans by commenting on how wild this season gets. Pauly D said “We haven’t gone this hard ever. We partied, drank every single night. It’s like the old days times ten.”
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi boasted that ‘We have already signed for another season. The fact that we got a second season before the first season aired means we did a good job. We killed it.”
“The show is insane. This is the best season we’ve ever shot. The fans are going to freak out,” she added.
Speaking on the possible merger between the Jersey Shore and Geordie Shore, Snooki expressed an interest, but stated “It would have to be in Jersey though, otherwise I would be homesick. I can’t leave my kids for more than two days or I start freaking out.”
Jennifer “JWoww” Farley expressed her confidence in the massive successful of a possible crossover show saying, “We need to get a crossover show. We are going to all go out together and shoot the pilot at a club and then forward it right to the president of MTV and be like “you’re welcome.”
Geordie Shore’s Nathan Henry shared his thoughts on the idea saying “We would be so down for a crossover season. And we don’t want it filmed in England. It has to be in Jersey. I’m not sure [the Jersey Shore cast] would like to go clubbing over here.’
The entire original cast of the Jersey Shore has returned for Family Vacation except for “Sammi Sweetheart” Sammi Giancola.
Pauly D commented on Sammi’s decision not to return to the show saying, “Sammi didn’t do it. She decided to sit it out. She’ll regret it.”
The other big change fans will see is in Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino, who Pauly D claims is “completely different”.
Following his rise to fame in the original seasons of Jersey Shore, Mike is now two years sober and is facing a fraud charge for tax evasion in which he is accused of not paying taxes on $8.9 million.
Jersey Shore Family Vacation airs on April 9th on MTV.
