James Argent ‘rushed to hospital over fears he overdosed’ – after missing PrettyLittleThing bash in Dublin

The reality star was reportedly missing for 48 hours when friends raised the alarm

James Argent was reportedly rushed to hospital on Wednesday night, over fears he had suffered a drug overdose.

According to The Sun, paramedics spent three hours at the reality star’s home, after friends expressed concern for his wellbeing because he had been missing for 48 hours.

Insiders have claimed that Arg was “out of it” and was taken to hospital, after he initially refused to get in the ambulance.

A ‘pal’ told the outlet: “Arg was disorientated and looked like he hadn’t eaten in days. He has been in denial of how bad it’s got and convinced everyone he’s fine but that couldn’t be further from the truth.”

“He’s been suffering with depression and has been in a bad place for years. This is another blip in his recovery but it is the wake up call he needs.

“Arg is desperate to be happy and healthy again and now accepts he needs professional help to overcome his demons.”

It’s believed Arg’s pals raised the alarm, after he failed to turn up at his friend Umar Kamani’s PrettyLittleThing launch party in Dublin on Wednesday evening.

The bash celebrated the launch of Molly-Mae Hague’s new party edit, and Umar flew over to Dublin on a private jet with a host of his friends.

The Sun has also reported that Arg discharged himself from hospital on Thursday, after spending the night there, and plans to fly to Belfast for a public appearance with Brian McFadden.

The news comes just two months after police broke into the reality star’s house back in October, over fears he had suffered an overdose.

Arg’s on-and-off girlfriend Gemma Collins reportedly dialled 999 after she couldn’t reach him on his phone.

Goss.ie have contacted James Argent’s representative for comment.
