Holly Willoughby has been apparently been confirmed as the replacement for Ant McPartlin on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
The 37-year-old will be joining Declan Donnelly as a co-host for the new season.
A source told The Mirror: “Holly is 100% confirmed to be going into the Jungle this year as Ant’s stand-in. It’s been in the works for weeks as ITV were really keen on getting her in.”
Ant and Dec reportedly both thought that Holly was perfect for the role, with Dec even suggesting her to ITV bosses.
“Dec first brought up Holly last year, after Ant went into rehab the first time,” the source said.
“They’ve taken their time announcing it as they wanted to be sure Holly could fit it in with her family and other work commitments.”
The news comes after it was confirmed that Ant wouldn’t be making a return to television until 2019.
